Why is it only tylenol and ibeprofen work for my pains?

My dad thinks Im crazy, but aspirin, aleve, aceteminophen pills DO NOT work at all for pains. Even yesterday I was miserable with a headache, took all of the above, and didn't feel better at all. My dad brought me ibeprofen and I was fine. Same thing with today, why is it all those do not work for me>
