Anyone taken Ortho Cyclen before?

I was on ortho tri cyclen lo for a month due to my period not stopping and i noticed on the 3rd week that I started feeling even more tired, bad headaches, and cramping. Oh and my period still didnt stop. So I went back to the clinic and they changed my pill to Ortho Cyclen. I've only been on this one 2 days but I was wondering how long can it take for my period to finally stop. Ive had it for a 6 weeks already and doesnt seem to go away. Has anyone taken this birth control pill before? If so can you tell me what symptoms you had or have...im really unsure because I dont know if my period will stop or what pill will work, plus i dont want to have crazy side effects either.
