If Cotto had Steward in the Margarito fight would Cotto take less damage and win?

I make no excuses if Cotto loses in any of his fights. I even respected people when some said Cotto lost to Clottey by a close decision. I thought it was close but felt Cotto did enough and Clottey didn't! This is just on theory. What if Steward was his trainer? Roach and Steward are considered the two best trainers in the last 10-15 years of boxing!
