Braided hair extensions?

I'm thinking of getting hair extensions, and I want to get them with little tiny itty bitty braids. Do synthetic braids cost alot?? Are they high maintenance?? Does the tightness of the braid cause headaches?? Do you really have to sleep with a hairnet on?? I know I have alot of questions but try to answer whatever ones you can. Thanks!
